Welcome to the Grants Management Office Website

The UNSW Grants Management Office facilitates the research efforts of UNSW staff by assisting with applications for grants and fellowships, the negotiation of research contracts and the administration of externally awarded funds. The Office also contains the Ethics Secretariat.

The Office manages a busy calendar of activities, primarily associated with our major funders, the ARC and NHRMC.

GMO Closing Date - all applications	Wednesday 17 February 2010 Note that Wednesday 17 Feb is the latest possible date to allow final review and signoff and on time submission of over 400 applications to the ARC via RMS by the ARC closing date.

Environment Trust Research Program Note: as there is a limit on how many EOIs can be submitted to the Environment Trust Research Program, the Research Strategy Office will review applications and make recommendations for submission where the application limit has been exceeded. As such, all applications must be submitted to the GMO by the internal closing date.	5 February 2010
Heart Foundation Grants-in-Aid Applications for funding from the Heart Foundation will be initially assessed by the NHMRC. However, intending applicants must also submit supplementary questions to the Heart Foundation, addressing the projects relevance to heart, stroke and blood vessel disease.	17 February 2010
