This information is for successful Linkage Grants that include APAI. The following links will take you to the documents required to establish the scholarship and appoint a student.

This is provided to (i) assist academics when selecting students to be considered for the APA(I) scholarship, and (ii) inform academics and students of the eligibility requirements and benefits. This is an overview only. The Graduate Research School should be consulted for other details or where a circumstance is not covered. The conditions and benefits are subject to review. This form is filled out and submitted by the student to the Graduate Research School. Please note the student will also need to apply for admission to the University. (Download PDF, 483kb)

This must be lodged with the Grants Management Office on the day the selected student commences the Program. Please note this cannot be before the collaborative agreement has been signed by all parties to the Linkage Grant. (Download PDF, 780kb)

This document outlines the UNSW procedures for requesting additional ARC funds in connection with the APAI component of an ARC Linkage Project. The associated ARC conditions can be found in the ARC Linkage Project Funding Agreement for the original year of award and you are encouraged to read these conditions before making a request. Please read the information carefully and keep this communication for reference and the processing of the APAI component of your award. The ARC Funding Rules are clear on the need to have the Collaborative Research Agreement signed before any part of the project can commence and as indicated above this includes APAI scholarship payments.
