The funding rules and instructions for applications for the ARC Future Fellowships are now available on the ARC Website. If you are interested in applying for a Fellowship you need to contact the relevant faculty Associate Dean Research by no later than 24 October 2008.
Your faculty ADR will contact you by Wednesday 29th October 2008, in regards to the success or otherwise of your enquiry.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR UNSW FUTURE FELLOW APPLICANTS
Please note: UNSW has undertaken an internal nomination process and only approved nominees will be eligible to submit an application to the ARC. Please contact your Associate Dean, Research for further information.
Step 1 - Obtain a copy of key information documents
Step 2 - Download and read the rules and instructions
Carefully read through the Funding Rules and Instructions to Applicants you have obtained above. You need to read both to understand the application process, together with the Frequently Asked Questions and Common Eligibility Issues documents.
Step 3 - Use your GAMS ID and password to log on to GAMS (Grant Application Management System)
If you already have a GAMS ID, you should log in through the ARC's GAMS website. Once you have logged on, remember to update your personal details if necessary.
To obtain a GAMS ID - access and complete the form on http://www.gmo.unsw.edu.au/ApplyingForFunds/ARC/GAMSRequestForm.rtf
Submit the completed form to mygrants.gmo@unsw.edu.au
Step 4 - Complete the application (GAMS and 'additional text')
Complete the online application in GAMS.
Write the 'additional text' sections (Parts A7, B7, D2 & E. See below regarding Part C3). When you have completed this part of the application, have a colleague revue the application. Step 5 - Strategic Statement
Please contact your faculty ADR or Head of School to discuss the preparation of this statement.
Step 6 Prepare your hard copy application
Complete the online application in GAMS.
Write the 'additional text' sections (Parts A7, B7, D2 & E. See below regarding Part C3). Email the draft application to: mygrants.gmo@unsw.edu.au, by no later than 28th October 2008. |
