SUBMISSION DEADLINES

Important Note:  The ARC's new Research Management System will be in use for this year's LIEF and LINKAGE rounds. 

Thursday 26 March 12.45 to 2pm
LIEF Workshop on how to apply and how to manage your grant. UNSW Analytical Centre Ground Floor Seminar Room.
Monday 06 April, 5pm
Deadline for submitting  Notification of Intention to Apply to UNSW Grants Management Office.
The completed form should be submitted electronically to mygrants.gmo@unsw.edu.au.

Closing date for editorial read.
Please Office Submit your application in RMS by this date. The GMO will work with the Analytical Centre to provide you with strategic feedback.
Friday 15 May, 5pm
 
If you have not requested an editorial read and would like to have your proposal compliance checked please "Office Submit" your application in RMS by this date and we will assign a compliance reader to you.
Thursday 21 May, 5pm
Final submission date.Applications will not be checked by GMO after this deadline.  All applications must be submitted to the ARC by 5pm Wednesday 27 May.

Our LIEF Alerts are issued on an 'as needs' basis to alert you to issues arising during the round.

GUIDELINES AND INSTRUCTIONS


UNSW POLICY ON CASH CONTRIBUTION TO LIEF APPLICATIONS

  • UNSW may decide to provide 100% cash contribution from UNSW Central if the project is based at UNSW (i.e. if UNSW is selected as the administering institution)
  • UNSW contribution for the ARC LIEF 2010 applications submitted via another institution (i.e. where UNSW is not the administering institution) should be made up of 75% UNSW Central funds and 25% from School/Faculty funds
Applicants should seek budget advice and assistance in preparing their application from the UNSW Analytical Centre
