NHMRC Research Grants Management System (RGMS)

The NHMRC's Research Grants Management System (RGMS) will soon be operational for the Profile and CV component of Project Grant and Fellowship applications.

At present access to the RGMS is limited to existing users only. However, it is anticipated open access to RGMS will be granted mid-November 2009 following the implementation of "Identity Lifecycle Management" (ILM). Key features include:

• new users being able to register for RGMS accounts online allowing them to get a "head-start" on completing their Profile/CV information in RGMS prior to preparing applications;

• allowing existing users to retrieve their username or password (if misplaced or forgotten) via an automated process.

To assist with creating new users of RGMS in a timely manner, NHMRC will export from its present system, the names and contact details of all current NHMRC Grant holders and 2009 peer review participants, and import them into RGMS. Once this occurs, these potential users will receive an email advising that they have access and as such will be able to start completing their Profile/CV.

Please regularly check RGMS Page for further updates over the coming weeks.
