Ethics Online Training

The Ethics online system is being developed in house by the Institutional Analysis and Reporting Office. The objective of the online system is to streamline the whole ethics application process, from application to assessment and monitoring, and to increase the transparency of the ethics approval process.

Researchers can now lodge animal ethics applications online (with the form having been launched in late 2007).

The Grants Management Office will be organizing training sessions in March and April covering:

  • how to create and submit new animal ethics applications;
  • when and how to validate submitted animal ethics applications; and
  • how to create and submit modifications for approved animal ethics projects.
