1. Assessors Reports and the Rejoinder open period – 24 July to 6 August

The Assessors Reports for the 2009 Linkage International – ARC International Fellowships application round will be available on GAMS Thursday 24 July and close 6pm Wednesday 6 August.

The key dates are:
• 24 July Assessor’s Reports available on GAM’s
• 4 August UNSW internal close date for Rejoinders and ‘Local Submit’ on GAMS
• 6 August Completion of the compliance checking of Rejoinders and submission by UNSW to the ARC.

2. UNSW Rejoinder Submission Process

The ARC requires the Rejoinder to be submitted by UNSW through the Grants Management Office (GMO) by 6 pm Wednesday 6 August. It would be appreciated if you could complete your Rejoinder and locally submit it on GAMS by no later than noon Monday August 4.

GMO staff will:
• monitor the ‘Local Submit’ of Rejoinders on GAMS;
• briefly check that your final Rejoinder does not have any editorial errors; and ‘Office Submit’ it on GAMS.

GMO staff will be able to provide advice on rules and eligibility and check the compliance of your Rejoinder.

Research Strategy Office (RSO) staff will provide advice and support regarding the content of the rejoinder, including how to respond to specific issues raised by assessors.

3. Support from Research Strategy Office

This year the Research Strategy Office (RSO) will provide one-to-one assistance and strategic advice to applicants who request assistance in preparing their rejoinders. Please contact Lee Williamson of the RSO to organise this assistance.
